So many kids grow up playing trading cards. Whether it be Pokemon or yugioh kids play it for the fun of it. Now and days video games usually take us over and we aren’t interacting with our friends as much. Trading cards can allow you to interact with your friends by playing the game. It can also help share the joys of playing your favorite game with your best friend. However is trading cards really worth playing?
In the article the good and bad of trading cards a man says how he used to love playing trading cards when he was a kid. He said that it gave him the opportunity to go out and interact with his friends. I agree with this because you both share a common interest and it can be a lot of fun to play. He also said that now and days people are playing video games and less time getting out and playing with their friends. I agree with this because even though trading cards is a game at least it was a interactive game rather then if you were playing a video game you would be looking at your tv screen. I also think trading card not only allows you to interact with others but also to share the joy of playing the game. Even though trading cards has become less popular through the years due to video games I still think those that are doing it are increasing their social opportunities by interacting with others. By doing that you can get away from the tv and go out and talk to someone.
Interesting article, i agree with you saying its a way to go out and interact with your friends more. However i don't think video games are taking away from the people playing card games, i feel there too different for a lot of card players to move to video games.
