I am a huge sports fan and I follow baseball very closely. Also, it really interests me that baseball teams seem to make tons more money than most other sports. Sports have been a big part of my life, both socially and personally, for about 10 years. Wathching or following sports is something that I am always doing when there are games on.
- The overall question I plan on answering by the end of the project:
What makes some baseball franchises more profitable than others? (Should professional athletes get paid more or less?)
- Sub questions I will need to answer in order to answer the overall question:
Does the team spending more make them more profitable?
How much money does the most profitable team spend compared to the least profitable?
How do experts judge how profitable a team is?
- My plan of research (what specific Library Databases, specific websites, names of authors, people, etc. will I pursue to find the answers to the questions above):
Search internet first for some of the core questions that I have, then I will use the database to dig deeper into the different topics that I find.
