   I am interested in studying my topic because I want to know why some food businesses are profitable while others are not. I want to know what factors determine success in a food business.

The overall question I plan on answering is why some food businesses are profitable while others are not.

• Sub questions I will need to answer in order to answer the overall question: 
  

  The sub questions I will need to answer are what food products do successful food businesses serve and what foods unsuccessful businesses serve, the ambiance of both successful and unsuccessful food businesses, and how everything is priced.

• My plan of research (what specific Library Databases, specific websites, names of authors, people, etc. will I pursue to find the answers to the questions above):

My plan of research is to use the Library Databases and to use the correct keywords to either broaden or specify my searches. I plan on using ProQuest, Country Reports, and Career Cruising.
