What determines the value of an NFL team?

• Briefly explain why you are interested in studying your topic?

I have always been into football all my life and it wasn't until I got older that I realized how much money is in professional football. It's not often that a player makes less than one million in their contracts. Also how teams are valued in the multi million range.

• The overall question I plan on answering by the end of the project?

What makes a professional football team valued at such high numbers nowadays? How did their value grow so fast?

• Sub questions I will need to answer in order to answer the overall question? 

How many players, and what they are payed? What the coaches are paid? How much does a team profit each game/year? Is NFL football turning into a money game.

• My plan of research (what specific Library Databases, specific websites, names of authors, people, etc. will I pursue to find the answers to the questions above)?

I plan on using the database ProQuest because I have used it before and I am familiar with how it works and how credible it is. I plan on also using credible sports reporters and see their opinion on why NFL teams are valued so high, and take into count that as well.
