I am interested in this topic because I am very interested in the NFL and recently the new NFL Comissioner Roger Goodell has been implementing changes that seem to hinder the sport rather than augment it. These changes have gone without much sensible motive, and I’m curious as to why he truly implemented them. Is it really for players’ safety? or does he see an economic opportunity?
- The overall question I plan on answering by the end of the project:
Are regulations on professional sports for safety or to increase profitability?
- Sub questions I will need to answer in order to answer the overall question:
- What have been the changes?
- Has NFL profited increased since Goodell’s implementation?
- Do fans still spend money even though they are upset with Goodell?
- Do the changes make the game safer?
- What do the players think of the changes?
- My plan of research (what specific Library Databases, specific websites, names of authors, people, etc. will I pursue to find the answers to the questions above):
